Suu's Banana Nut Bread

1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
3/4 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 1/4 tsp. Cream of tartar
2 ripe bananas, sliced (can use 3 if small, 3 would be better)
2 eggs
1/2 c. soft butter or shortening
3/4 c. sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Mix flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar in mixing
bowl. Put bananas, eggs, butter and sugar in blender and cover. Put on
puree until smooth. Pour banana mixture over flour mixture and gently
combine. Pour into 8x4 loaf pan. Bake for about 60 minutes. Check at 45
minutes. Can also add raisins and/or nuts, about 1/4 to 1/2 c. each to mixture
before baking.
