Soun's Favorite Teriyaki Chicken

1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 T. oil
1 tsp. Ginger
1 or 2 tsp. Garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Salt

Mix all ingredients and marinade chicken breasts or thighs overnight or at
least 3 hours. Remove from sauce 30 minutes before cooking. Place on a hot
grill (outside) and cook until done. There may be cooked also in a 350 oven
for 1 hour turning and basting every 30 minutes.
